As a follower of tech prices and etc, this has got to be the biggest change for Mac users!Apple had just recently released their new line of MacBook Pros' which includes a new younger brother the 13" MacBook Pro!
The specifications for the new liners are similar to the previous MacBook Pro,
*using 15" MacBook Pro as an example
- Intel Core 2 Duo
- 320GB
- 4GB DDR3 RAM
- Nvidia 9400GT + 9600GT with 256mb
- iSight
- inbuilt speakers/mic
But with the new addition (finally!!!) an SDcard slot, and a MAXIMUM improvement of
battery lifespan from the previous 4 hours usage to now 7 hours (8 hours for 17" MacBook Pro).
*Note: the battery is now fully built-in --> non-detachable
A few of you are drooling at the moment. But you're going to salivate like a waterfall with the next thing I tell you.
All the prices dropped!!!
Take for instance. The previously 15" MacBook Pro 2.66GHz RM8899 is now priced for RM6899!!! (2 Grand difference!)The thing that makes it so worth while is that the new price includes the SD card slot and 7 hour battery life!
(for those who bought MacBook Pros' from dealers or etc recently are definitely feeling the pinch now.)
One thing new for Malaysian buyers, you don't have to go all the way and find the best dealer to purchase this AWESOME unit from. You can just go onto the Apple store (customize your unit to your likings + additional accessories) and it'll be delivered in 24 HOURS! 1 day!!!
So make a run for your money for those who need new notebooks. Btw, if you can't afford this price range, go for the new 13" MacBook Pro with its low price of RM4099 (2.26GHz), RM5199 (2.56GHz).
