Raw talent! Wow.

Music is a means of expression known to all mankind and some say any living being. No matter your race or religion, country of origin or culture, good music are noticed even by the deaf.

Centuries have passed and yet the means of making music have been the same. From an infant, our mouths babble. We learn to clap and stomp. Subsequently we learn melodies and harmonies by phonations. Those privileged enough manage to pick up musical instruments.



Common ones are the piano, guitar, drums. In asia, the gu zheng, sitar and kompang. There are hundreds and probably thousands of instruments.



Today, well more like several years ago this boy introduced an old yet new instrument. And he played it to it's full potential.

Just awesome talent, this kid makes an instrument out of PVC pipe, awsome !!


Among the popular songs he jammed to were: super mario, pirates of the caribbean, final countdown, lady gaga, james bond and etc.

Swapping and planning

11:12pm i can't believe i spent almost the entire evening, night - 4hours - attempting to swap groupings for my next semester.

Initially i had it all figured out as some of my closer buds planned on one group. Once i found someone to change with, they all moved to other groups.

I got bailed, ditched, left alone...
(emo music) ... {Violins fiddle in the back}






It's irritating, but well ... Such is life. (btw, the fella above in the pic needs Jesus) haha!


For some of you, the need for certain activities or etc to be planned in specific groupings are vital!


Reasons people usually give:-
----------------------------------------
1. Friends - my housemates are in that group/ my gf or bf

2. Transportation - i don't have a car/vehicle, hence i must move to that group

3. Time - to study, work or etc is inconvenient in that group

4. Just because somebody asked me

5. Some whacked out reason - my senior/mum told me it'd be better




Whatever the reason is, so long we can find willing people and it's convenient to us, we'll swap!

For myself, it's more of i am easily tired - probably cause i really do what needs to be done when in the hospital... As a result i will not have the time to study, and i'm afraid i burn out. In addition, i live half hour plus away as compared to my peers who at most take 15 minutes. It seems almost negligible, but when waking at 6am comes in, that 15 minutes is heaven.

It's interesting how creative people can be with music. It may be used to express feelings; as a subconscious stimulant; and even to pass time or have a social gathering.

did u know, playing music is very addictive. it's sorta like reading a book for some. takes you on a journey where you discover new things, feelings, emotions, happiness, fear, and basically where you control the scene :D

Btw, sorry bout' the disappearance for 2 weeks! been busy trying to practice my instruments and addicted to 'Beethoven Virus'. Will be making a new vid extremely soon. Deciding the piece. hehe.

La Campanella!

La Campanella, a tune well heard by classical musicians of all instruments; but can only be played once great skill is acquired! Two great variations one by Franz Liszt and the other Nicollo Paganini.

This is one of my favorite pieces for the piano as well as violin!

Music dilemma..

11:18am Just awoke after a 13 hour sleep. Boy I feel so much better now compared to the 2 hour sleep and 15 hours of being awake. Anyway, I'm in a dilemma regarding what instrument I should focus on. Again and again it comes to me. hehe. The contest is between the piano, guitar and violin. Not drums because I'm pretty alright with that already. The piano just dazzles me away, guitar makes me feel like a Rock Star, whilst the violin is just emotion and sentiment piercing... Help me?
