10:46pm I currently am uncertain of what I'm about to write, but bare with me. I'm 4 weeks away ( including this week ) from my exam of 2 systems (Musculoskeletal and Central Nervous system). 2 weeks immediately after that is my FINAL exam for my first phase of Medical school.

It's really exciting! Except that the finals consist of 9 systems. In some sense, basically everything about the Homosapien body.

I can't wait for it to finish. But on the other hand, I think I need to finish studying a.s.a.p. Majority of people are almost done or have finished it once.

Myself? The opposite of almost done. Though this gets me excited. I shall enjoy this challenge and have a fun roller-coaster ride!

It's only human nature for comparison; challenging one another to be the ultimate victor!

But when you think about it, eventually we all are heading for the same destination.

i.e to strive for excellence and provide for one-self and the ones under

So what's the need to be

KIASU?!

Haha. Honestly, I don't know. I guess if you take this self-made equation as an example

study lots + learn from others +

with-hold info(not sharing) to others

= Advantage over others

= ability to do better than others

= become better than others

= WINNER!

Now, by doing so the answer is clear. But take example a person learning together

study lots + learn from others +

share with others

= ability to better one-self

= do well

= Winner?

Hence, with that let us compare the two.

One, the Kiasu student, emerges the TOP!

The person learning together, does well but may end up second best.

To me, there isn't much of a difference. I guess essentially it's your MAIN Aim/ Goal.

Are you in it to

show you're the best?

Are you in it to

succeed for yourself with others alongside?

The choice is in your hands.
